Bedford Pumps Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of large centrifugal pumps serving the water industry both in the UK and overseas. The company manufactures new pumps and services its own and competitors product. Due to continued growth, and as part of its long term strategy, the company is now looking to strengthen, amongst others, its Spares and Service Department and is seeking individuals in the following disciplines.
SERVICE MANAGER
This is a senior position within the company and the successful candidate will have a proven track record in running a service department preferably in heavy engineering. You will be a career engineer qualified up to degree level and be expected to take full commercial responsibility for the success of the spares and service department. This position is based at our Kempston works.TENDERING ENGINEER
The successful candidate will have knowledge of pump applications and experience in tendering into the water industry. You will have a recognised engineering qualification, be commercially astute and fully IT literate. This position is based in the company’s Kempston Works.All the positions carry an attractive salary, commensurate with experience in addition to pension and other benefits.
